Global Compassion Coalition Ghana

Global Compassion Coalition Ghana just had its first public Meeting at Medie in the Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region, the capital of Ghana.

The first public meeting was held on the 1st of October, 2023 at 3pm.
The meeting was attended my the Chief of the Community, two Aspiring Assembly members contesting to become Assembly member to help bring development in their communities were present as well.

Global Compassion Coalition Ghana is working in towns, city and all the 16 regions in Ghana.

We hope to connect with the grassroot people to know their needs and provide social services. We connect with communities to help low-income individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency to eradicate poverty. We hope to uplift individuals in their community who are marginalized and experience barriers to care and basic necessities.

Some of the services that we hope to provide include

Access to food/food banks
Homeless shelters and housing services
Education
Workforce development
And many more.. And again, we will extend our services to advocate for policy change to address the key problems the problem we are working to solve at its root.

Youth Services and Programs
We will provide key programming to children and youth.

We will construct and manage community centers, provide after school and summer programming, and provide social compassion learning centers for children to support them outside of school.

Global Compassion Coalition Ghana will encourage community and friendship among young girls, provide unique activities, teach leadership skills, and promote civic responsibilities. This is just to make sure that the youth and children benefit from our services and are not left out.

We are eager to publish an annual report, detailing our yearly financials and key achievements made throughout the year, for you to really understand how we are impacting communities everyday, and also for you to have an idea about how we are making a positive change.

Again, our annual report will detail the scope of work and the number of individuals impacted by our services. Our report will be used to communicate to funders how helping people in Ghana to access life basic needs including food helps not only the people accessing our services, but contributes to a more just and equitable society for everyone.

The Community is asking for the following projects.

1. School for their kids, ages from 2 years and above. To enable them eradicate poverty in that generation.
2. ICT school to be built in a strategic location in the town to serve the whole community.

3. Scholarship for their wards to further their education in tertiary schools from 2023-2024 academic year.
