The importance of creative expression

for men's mental health

Recent statistics reveal that men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues, and suicide rates among men are nearly four times higher than women. In this workshop, we will learn about art therapy and how creative expression can be a powerful tool for improving mental well-being. Jenn will discuss how men, in particular, can benefit from using this safe and supportive space to explore their emotions and will lead us through an Art Therapy exercise. Whilst the focus will be on men’s mental health, this session is open to and will benefit all. The session will be held on Zoom.
