On 15 August 2024, Compassion Connectors Cameroon organized a special event to mark International Youth Day focused on engaging young people in the idea of creating a compassionate, cohesive society.
The event took place at Sandpit-Buea and focused on the role of digital technology in shaping modern living. Together the Compassion Connectors, together with young people from the surrounding region, discussed how they can use technology to spread values and how, in turn, those values need to be at the heart of technological developments.
Compassion Connectors Cameroon were delighted to see such high engagement in the event and were able to sign-up a number of young people keen to continue being involved in their initiatives.
