Kathryn Lovewell is the Founder of Kind Mind Academy, award-winning international speaker and best-selling author specialising in Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) for children, women, and families. A certified MSC teacher, professional speaker and author of “The Little Book of Self-Compassion,” “The Voices in My Head!” and “Every Teacher Matters, Inspiring Well-being through Mindfulness.” Kathryn is also a certified Awakening Joy Facilitator and the host of the “Compassion Champions” Gathering for The Global Compassion Coalition. Since 2020 she has been a founding lead meditation teacher, volunteering for The Global Circles of Practice, offering a weekly guided virtual self-compassion practice for The Centre for Mindful Self-Compassion.
Deborah Rozman, Ph.D. is President and co-CEO of HeartMath Inc. She is a behavioral psychologist and helped develop HeartMath’s training programs since 1991 to facilitate a more resilient and heart-based world. HeartMath training and certification programs teach scientifically validated techniques for developing emotional self-regulation skills and internal energy management for health and wellbeing, building resilience and coherence, and enhancing intuition and innovation. Natalia Lavin is a Certified Instructor in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR®), Mindfulness and Emotional Balance Program (MBEB®), Compassion-Based Resilience Program (CBRT®) and Mindful Eating Program (MB-EAT®), Diploma in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, Training in Compassion-Focused Therapy and EMDR, Certified in Compassionate Health Leadership, Yoga Instructor with a Trauma-Sensitive Approach, Social Worker and Master in Couple and Individual Family Psychotherapy. With more than 19 years of experience in the area of Public and Private Health. Her motivation is to bring the practices of Mindfulness and Compassion to the different areas of society, promoting mental health, humanization in health, self-care and Lifestyle Medicine to contribute to an inclusive society of greater well-being and reduce suffering. Natalia is also the GCC’s National Lead Connector for Chile.
Professor Robin Banerjee is a professor of developmental psychology and the inaugural Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global and Civic Engagement at the University of Sussex. Formerly Head of the School of Psychology, his research focuses on the social and emotional development of young people, and he works closely with practitioners and policymakers in the areas of education and mental health. He founded the Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness, an interdisciplinary research centre focused on illuminating the nature of kindness and its impacts on people and communities. Professor Banerjee recently led The Kindness Test, a partnership with the BBC that became the world’s largest ever public science project on kindness. He is an expert advisor to EmpathyLab, an organisation that works with schools, libraries, and other community stakeholders to promote empathy and reading for pleasure through the power of children’s books.
Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer is a poet, teacher, speaker and writing facilitator who co-hosts the Emerging Form podcast on creative process. Her daily audio series, The Poetic Path, is on the Ritual app. Her poems have appeared on A Prairie Home Companion, PBS News Hour, O Magazine, American Life in Poetry, and Carnegie Hall stage. Her most recent poetry collections are All the Honey (Samara Press, 2023) and The Unfolding (Wildhouse Publishing). In January, 2024, she became the first poet laureate for Evermore, helping others explore grief, bereavement, wonder and love through poetry. Her three-word mantra: I’m still learning, and, if limited to one: Adjust.
