Biography
I am a retired businesswoman with a long career leading a major Australian science information company, Biotext Pty Ltd. I have a strong interest in public engagement around contentious issues and have facilitated many public conversations among citizens with diverse perspectives. In 2020, I founded the Women's Climate Congress to promote women's leadership and nonpartisan, collaborative action on climate change.
Why I support the Compassion Coalition
I firmly believe that qualities of the heart such as compassion, love, kindness, empathy are the basis of true strength in decision making. These qualities should be elevated and applied in government are promoted in the work of the Women's Climate Congress.
