Biography
Sam Shapiro serves as the Head of School for Marin Montessori School. For fifteen years prior, he taught at the Athenian School. Sam received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Santa Cruz, and his master’s degree in world religions and a Massachusetts secondary education teaching credential from Harvard University.
Why I support the Compassion Coalition
I’ve joined GCC because the truth of our species’ interdependence has never been more apparent. In my own life and work, the medicinal value of compassion continues to reveal itself. GCC’s bold vision inspires me; I'm eager to join this good, solutions-oriented work.
