As major employers and wealth-generators, businesses have incredible power. To date, that power has not always been used to improve the wellbeing of humanity but to advance the narrow interests of shareholders and senior leaders. That has to change. As inequality increases, the planet is exploited, and resources run dry, we have to shift the purpose of business away from private concerns to public welfare. How that can be done is the focus of our Compassion and Business Taskforce.
