Tanzania Connectors plan for success in 2025

On 12th January, the Tanzania Connectors came together for a pivotal strategy session, marking a significant step in shaping their plans for the upcoming year. The meeting focused on reviewing progress from 2024, addressing ongoing challenges, and laying the groundwork for impactful initiatives in 2025.

Reflecting on 2024 achievements

The session began with a review of individual activities and collective accomplishments from the past year. Highlights included the successful drafting of the organization’s constitution, a milestone that symbolizes the group’s commitment to structure and governance.

However, the discussion also underscored the challenges faced in 2024. While progress has been made in the registration process, funding limitations have delayed its completion. Plans to establish a physical office have similarly been hindered by financial constraints, reminding the group of the importance of resource mobilization in the year ahead.

Strategizing for 2025

Looking forward, the Tanzania Connectors identified key priorities for 2025. These include:

  • A physical meeting in Dar es Salaam: Scheduled for 15th–17th January, this gathering will bring together Connectors from across Tanzania to review ongoing projects and develop detailed strategies for the new year.
  • Strengthening accountability and execution: The group emphasized the need for clear accountability mechanisms to ensure the success of planned initiatives.
  • Resource mobilization and partnerships: Strategies to secure funding and build strong partnerships were a focal point of the discussions.

The session concluded with a renewed commitment to fostering collaboration and achieving impactful results in 2025. As one participant noted, “We’re not just planning—we’re building a future that embodies the values of togetherness and compassion.”

A Connector’s journey

As part of preparations for the physical meeting, Secretary Kassim Abdul embarked on a journey to Dar es Salaam. On 14th January, Kassim arrived in Dodoma from Mwanza, where he took the opportunity to assist children in need of school supplies. “Providing support to children in Dodoma was a meaningful way to contribute to our mission of compassion,” Kassim shared.

Following this impactful stop, Kassim will continue to Dar es Salaam to join fellow Connectors and contribute to shaping the organization’s future. The meeting promises to be an inspiring start to a year of action and success for the Tanzania Connectors.
